I have always been a chubby kid, but being a fat teen is much worse. All of the cute clothes are either too small or look wrong on me. That's why i hate shopping, especially with my size 4 mom who keeps telling me that she was fat as a child too. but here's the thing she lost it before she turned 14. I try my best to find young clothes, opposed to just things that fit me because they are usually in the adult section and therefore older than I look.
I hate walking into stores and seeing the holy land. yes, the junior section with all the happy clothes that i will never fit into. Sigh...

Yuck!
I feel really disgusting. I ate ALL day today. It was gross!!!!!!!!!! I was so bored and I wasn't technically hungry, but I ate anyway because I had nothing better to do, or should I say nothing that I wanted to do. I have finals that I should have been studying for, which IS better than eating so much, but I didn't do it because I didn't want to. I'm such a lazy assed procrastinator.

hello
er...okay i guess im here because im having a fat day. actually, more like a fat year. okay, so its a fat decade. actually thats a bit of an exaggeration, more like a fat five years. okay yea, a fat five years. thats good
i used to be about 4 inches big and have a huuuuuuge head and feet but now im just huuuuuuge. okay, not huge. just not skinny.

i exercise and everything, blah blah. i actaully eat pretty healthy and i dance every day. i really dont understand whats going on.


anyway. todays not really a fat day, but it will be soon (after i get done with the fridge) and i will have many more. so i will be back.

Hi. I'm Eva. I live in LA, and I'm a skinny mini. I'm one of those people who can never gain weight. I've been this way all my life. I've always been very underweight. I find it difficult if not impossible to gain weight. I don't like the way I look, I'm uncomfortable in my own body because it's sometimes uncomfortable to sit and difficult to find a position I can sleep in. I'm anemic. Because I'm also a former drug user, rumors are always circulating with my friends that I'm using again or relapsing. I'm not.

I've gone for doctors asking for help and medical advice. They treat me like a joke. A few weeks ago I went to a doctor and asked for her to examine my thyroid. She felt my neck for a half a second and said she felt no swelling in my thyroid area and said she didn't want to run a test because she didn't think it was neccessary. Then she asked me if I force myself to vomit. People who don't know me well sometimes ask if I'm anorexic. For the record, I eat a healthy well rounded diet. I never deny myself food. When I'm hungry I eat. I have never forced myself to vomit.

I don't exercise and I smoke a half a pack a day. Aside from that my health habits are good. I eat three meals a day plus snacks, I avoid fast food and processed food, I eat organic as much as possible, I drink very little alcohol, I don't abuse drugs, I'm not on any prescription medication, and I get enough sleep. I'm not a vegetarian. I cut all the artificial sugar out of my diet about a year ago and in desperation to gain weight I've recenty reintroduced ice cream and flavored coffee creamer.

B.t.w., I'm 30, I'm 5'4 and I weight 100 pounds, up from a recent low of 93.

I have an appointment with an endocrinologist who I'm hoping will be more helpful. In the meantime, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find healthy high cal recipes that will help me pack on the pounds without eating junk food. b.t.w., I can't stand the taste of beer and I've already tried protein shakes to no avail.

Tofu jerky
1/2 cup soy sauce
3 to 4 tbsp liquid smoke
1/8 cup water
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder or 1 clove crushed fresh garlic
1 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
1 tsp honey
1 pound firm or extra firm tofu
Cut and drain the tofu. Take a 1-pound cube, cut it in half, and then slice it into strips on its short side. Strips should be about 4 to 5 millimeters in thickness. They may look big, but they'll shrink to about half their size.
Mix all the marinade ingredients together well. Put the tofu in a single layer in a shallow baking pan or cookie sheet and pour the marinade over it. Let soak for several hours or overnight.

Drain excess liquid (may be reused) and dry tofu in food dehydrator or warm (200 degrees F) oven. This will take 4 to 8 hours, depending on weather. If you live in a sunny, hot, dry climate, you can sun-dry it. It will take all day.

Flip the tofu over hourly so it dries evenly. Tofu jerky is delicious and keeps indefinitely. Dry the jerky until it is very chewy, but not crispy.

Be creative: Use low-sodium soy if you want less salt (it is rather salty). Use tabasco or ground cayenne if you want it hot. Chili powder makes chili jerky. Oregano and basil make pizza jerky.

do you know how it feels to have "the munchies" 24hours/7 days a week? YOU KNOW HOW THAT FEELS??? I DO!!! ahrgdskbsfkwajn i dont know what ta do... the fridge is locked and im finding worse stuff that i woldnt have found if the fridge was open. I foundthe BEST stuff in the garrage fridge, im talking icecream, waffles GALORE! Well, 4 hours and 4,000 calories later... im here... wondering what i did to myself, as i do normally. This time i have one HELLA stomach ake!!! argh i dontknow what to do anymore, I DONT KNWO WHAT TOO DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

breakfast:
3 large chocolate pancakes (low- fat pancake mix)
2 glassess soy moo (soy milk)

lunch:
3 1/2 chocolate chip cookies that my friend gave me during math after i told her i lost 2lbs on weiht watchrs, she wanted to 'reward me'

snack:
lots o chocolate chip cookie dough (un-cooked)
small eazy-open can of garbonzo beans

dinner:
pack of california sushi rolls (from publix)
3 veggie rolls (from my scond that im saving the rest for my lunch tomorrow)
4 tablespoonfulls of fat-free refried beans
whole container AND a half of "cool coffee" flavored vegan tofutti iecream (damn vegans)
5 fat-free chocolate, chocolate chip cookies
devils food fat-free pudding (by jello)
some more of the second container of my tofutti icecream :P



... think im done now? the night is far to young my darlings! yeah, so i wanted to be a vegan but it's not working out too well, =( what's a poor girl who loves animal products to do? well, i got tofutti icecream... but i ate it ALL! It kinda defeated the whoe purpose of becomming a vegan but, on well...

oh yeah! I gota thing of tofu, and i dont know what to do with it. Any suggestions as to how i can prepare it?

6 buttery rolls pillsbary... (5 pts each) 30 pts.
5 waffles with jelly... 7 pts.

dinnah:
can of tunafish w/ real mayo... ? pts.
3 cans of caffine- free coke... ? pts.
1 can of sprite ...? pts.
1 and a half cans of norml coke ... ? pts.
4 boards of matzo... 8 pts.

then i walked around my neighborhood for 12 minutes (i timed it)

help wanted!
hi everyone, i just recently became a strict vegiteraian. Oddly enouh, i strongly dislie veggies but a breast cancer survivor/speaker came yesterday to talk to my class about breast cancer and told us about what farms do to their cows and chickens. A month ago i decided i wasent going to eat any red meat and i began drinking soy milk by the container (per day)it's so yummey! So, i cosidered myself to be a non-strict vegetarian and then after the cancer talk yesterday i decided i am going to be a full-out vegan (by the way, does that mean strict vegearian) i have been using the term "vegan" because i cant spell vegetarian (i can still get the point across) and i always tought that vegan was a strict vegetarian. Hmmm, so i bought 2 packs of boca burgers (origional vegan and garlic vegan). I had a garlic one last night and i had the whole box of the origional vegan today, lol, and i had 3 squares of matza (leftover from passover) and cheerios and soymilk, yes. I had 4 bowls of that, 2 for breakfast and 2 for lunch. Along withthe vegan burgers, an it's only 5 o clock! hah. i also had 3 bananas, yes. So, im not sure if i said this already but does anyone know of any foods i can buy at publix that is vegan and low (or no) fat. Im big on low-fat foods (and no fat foods). That's all for now.

cheerios and soy milk

prunes (my favorite, schweeeeeet)

1 8oz glass of water

small cup of 2% milkfat cottage cheese

99% fat free yoplet yogurt (strawberry banana)

3 more chocolate cookies to finish the package
